Great Pubs in Weybridge

A business essential that should never be under-estimated is a really good pub. Offering the ideal location for everything from a team meal to interviews, good pubs are a great resource for small companies. In the next part of our series on the best of Weybridge, we’re going to profile four of our favourite pubs:The Hand & Spear

The Hand & Spear has long been considered one of the most stylish pubs in the Weybridge area, and after a recent Victorian-influenced renovation, there really is no taking away from how great it looks. With various rooms (including a double height conservatory and an aviary), this is a great choice for hosting clients. Their food is absolutely delicious, with a focus on modern British Cuisine.

The Oatlands Chaser

A real family pub in the very best sense, The Oatlands Chaser provides fresh food, a selection of cask-ales (as well as a number of rooms should you need to stay the night). There’s a delightful beer garden as well as a real fire, making it perfect for both summer and winter. Dishes range from lighter bites right the way through to classic pub fare, and there’s a range of wines and lagers to wash it all down with.

The Minnow

As beautiful a country pub as you’ll find anywhere in the UK, The Minnow is perfect for winding down at the end of a busy week. Cosy corners and comfy armchairs are in abundance as is the delicious food and substantial drinks menu. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic Sunday roast or a box-baked camembert, The Minnow’s kitchen will be more than happy to oblige!

The Queen’s Head

Having been first built in the 18th Century as a coach house and courthouse, The Queen’s Head has a character that’s almost unrivalled in the area. It’s a snug, welcoming pub complete with low ceilings and warming fireplaces. The food combines French brasserie dishes with a unique twist on classic English pub grub, with everything cooked freshly on the premises. Whatever you’re in the mood for, The Queen’s Head has got it covered.
